REX '22 Large Builds - August 2022

As part of MIT’s Residential EXploration week, the dorm that I live in, East Campus, enjoys building large scale (usually wooden) structures. These structures serve as a good hangout spot, a place to dance, or offer fun experiences.

This was the second time I was project lead for this event. Starting in January/February is when work really started on design. I had a large part in design, validating safety, CAD, and leading construction. It was a very fun experience and it was nice to build a roller coaster and a tall fort for my final build.
