REX '21 Large Build - August '21

I started this project as I was finishing my second year and going into my third year at MIT. The wooden structure was about 40’ x 40’ x 26’ and featured three floors, stairs, a pool, and an overhanging Net.

The Fort served as a central hub for incoming students to help build and encage with the community. It even hosted a large-scale party where about 2,400 students attended. Image Image

The design process took about 6 months and construction took around a month. I learned a lot about team management and enjoyed engaging with my fellow dormmates. Image
